Ferries
Ferries operate from Friday Harbor and from terminals on Orcas, Shaw and Lopez Islands. Tickets and reservations are available from Washington State Department of Transportation.
Air Travel
Seaplanes and wheeled aircraft fly in and out of the San Juan Islands daily with shuttle services available for those with extended travel to/from SeaTac.
SEASONAL VARIABILITY IN TRAVEL
The “off-season” in the San Juan Islands runs from November to March. Ferries run on a reduced winter schedule and air travel will be subject to weather conditions.
